Inside the malampuzha Gardens in a Children's park which contain lots of recreational and enjoyment facilities for children. There are plenty of slides, see-saws, merry-go-rounds, swingsets, overhead ladders and the like. There is also a Toy train that goes round the Children's park. The Children's Park is open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. It is pretty safe to leave children there, as the park is well surrounded by fence, and children cannot accidentally go out of the park.
Toy train is one of the main attractions of the Children's park.The new Toy train satrted service from the beginning of 2014.The beautiful Metro model of the toy train attracts everybody,especially small children.Children are very fond of their familiar cartoon characters arranged beautifully on the body of the toy train.The Diesel Engine driven train has 6 passenger bogies and one engine cabin.All are really enjoying the ride in the toy train around the Children Park.
The oriental flavor of this pretty little garden, designed in typical Japanese style, adds an enchanting touch to the park. The Japanese Park was recently renovated to add more attractions. There is also a rope bridge over the canal nearby. It is open from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
The statue of Yakshi – the enchantress, is the prime attraction of malampuzha gardens. Yakshi is the magnums opus of renowned sculptor Kanayi Kunjiraman. The statue has been carved out of a large single rock and is said to be inspired from the female protagonist of a novel of same name by Malayattur Ramakrishnan
